Concerts In The Dark
16 Jun 2010
Again Gent Festival of Flanders wants this year's concerts open to people with visual impairments. Their goal: to let blind and visually impaired enjoy twice as much the unique experience of a live concert.
Gent Festival of Flanders wants to give a dynamic impulse to make visual impaired get a lot of pleasure out of a concert. During the festival, adults as well as children get the support needed to experience the unique perception of a live concert.
Yearly Gent Festival of Flanders organises ‘Blind Date – Concerts In The Dark’ for adults.
Out of the range offered by Gent Festival of Flanders, a selection is made by the organizers. They also help the blind and visually impaired to reach the concert hall. There is also taken care of transport to and from the concert hall and personal guidance during the concert.
Ticket prices are deliberately kept low.
